Going through this slowly, chapter by chapter, for my bookclub. After finishing part one, let me tell you, this man can write holy smokes. Especially the way he characterises people, giving you a paragraph about them, that seems to encompass their whole character and life story. I also really enjoy the going back and forth between the past and present day. So ready for parts two and three.
