I’m the kind of person who loves pet names/nicknames in books. Why does the choice of name and the overuse of it drive me kind of crazy in this book? The repeated “My king”? “Boo-boo”? Urgh.

Why are they out on an important, fancy date together and looking at their phones?
I’m not even super strict about having phones out during dinner or activities, but it’s driving me crazy here. They are constantly browsing or responding to unimportant texts while hanging out with people and having important discussions.
