Going into this book knowing almost nothing about was crazy, but it feels great
How do you go from describing beauty of nature to showcasing the history of the valley, Spanish and American conquest, lore of not one but TWO families and comment on delusion, the changing vision of parents in child's eyes and the psychology of the military in FOUR CHAPTERS?? That's not even all. I am in awe — both its meanings— fully.
