You know a book means business when it comes with a PDF, a glossary with creature and character descriptions, and a pronunciation guide. The author has spent an incredible amount of time building this story.

The parchment larks have completely won me over. They’re these tiny, paper-like creatures that flutter through the story with such charm, it’s hard not to smile every time they appear.
