...project for an alternate timeline, to do a joint review of this and sequel. While reading Rothfuss in parallel.

Naive accusations of plagiarism are part of the appeal.

Funny that Virdi already wrote more words than Rothfuss. The real intent is to "re-dress" indian myths, likely being the LARGEST body of work known to humanity.

Chapter at page 97 is titled BRAHM, it's precisely what it sounds like.

...Not sure what to make of it.

Style is overstated and emphatic.

Two unique persons meet by chance in a inn, proceed to take a stroll under the rain and into a different inn. Sit at a table to eat, still drenched and making no attempt at drying. Then get back to the first inn, go to the roof to sit under the rain a while longer.

No shit given about consistency, author simply thought it poetic and emotional.

Quite curious to read alongside Ruocchio, as both are accused of plagiarizing The Name of The Wind. Here in a much more brazen way.

Fact is, this is almost a taunt. I appreciate that type of challenge and the careless risk of it. First chapter felt a bit wonky. I reread it three times, but I feel adjusted now. We shall see...
