i can suspend belief for a lot of shit but where i draw the line is the fact that a single, friendless woman hiking for the first time, ALONE, has chosen to align herself with a bunch of men she HAS NEVER MET BEFORE instead of the group of women or the elderly couple.

this book is so HOLLOW, the characters are FLATTER THAN MY ASS and it's all EXPOSITION and NO EMOTION and i'm GOING TO FINISH IT BECAUSE I PAID FOR IT

really hoping we get some more backstory about mia to inform WHY SHE'S MAKING THE DECISIONS THAT SHE IS. miss "im antisocial and cold and i need plans and strategies and details" but she's JUST realizing that her ex fiance has the tent they were gonna use together on this DAYS LONG HIKE???? AND SHE'S NEVER CAMPED BEFORE???? OR EXERCISED???? AND SHE'S ALONE?? bitch
