I think I am almost past the part where I stopped last time (and this time I am loving it), so that's exciting!

Odd, I miss the main characters of the first book... Love the setting still, and whenever it tells about the magic, I am super invested. I just don't really care so much for the main couple this time...

I also keep feeling this book has a serious problem with how it represents its female characters. It desperately tries to be funny in its dialogue but it isn't working out for me. Probably gonna keep reading though.
