Wow made me tear up a bit reflecting on how amazing it is that we have been forgiven by a God who understands the pull of our temptations. Also Yancey reminds us of just how desperately the world needs forgiveness if we are to end cycles of revenge and violence.

A powerful reminder of just how often Christians can fall into the traps of legalism and moral superiority, just like the very Pharisees that Jesus condemned. The world needs so much grace and forgiveness, yet how can we offer it, if we don’t embody it ourselves?
