Even if the historicity of Adam is important to the Gospel I don't think the arguments that apply to Adam necessarily apply to Christ. There are plenty of good reasons they wouldn't. The YEC writer for this book argues very aggressively and not particularly winsomely. Which is unfortunate.

I am finding the Old Earth discussion not ancient creation epics fascinating and so confirming of the truth of creation.
