I think I can see where this book is going, and it is a good place. I'm enjoying it. I am not finding the book funny, so I'm not sure where the "comedy" in "romantic comedy" is, but I like what I think it's trying to do.

So, the inciting accident in this book is that Jordan slams into Ashley, making her fall to the ground, pouring coffee all over her, ruining her dress and making her break her shoe's heel (luckily not her ankle) and ASHLEY is the bitch because she was upset (mind, she did not raise her voice, she was just "cold") and told Jordan to pay for the dry cleaning. What I thought was "you forgot the cobbler".
