I have not yet been truly intrigued by much of this, but maybe the clopening chapter will turn it all around…

Maybe it’s a function of the fact that I’m reading this book almost ten years after it was published, but I get the feeling Cathy O’Neil thinks she’s blowing the lid off of something super scandalous and revealing and she just… isn’t. She doesn’t go deep enough! This is already stuff I know!
