Good so far. Very descriptive in its horror, although said horror is thrilling and entertaining. Although I think a different country from the UK would be more entertaining, it still works. Overall, still entertaining.

The book now seems to be moving too quickly. Half of the original characters have died, and almost all the newer ones have as well. To be fair, given the nature of the situation, this is probably realistic, but some characters that I feel had a lot of potential were killed off. Hopefully, the book gets a little deeper later.

This book is somehow managing to get even more thrilling. With the addition of new characters and the deaths of several old ones, new friendships and stories are discovered. However, because of the nature of the situation, these new friendships may end up as a catalyst for even more misfortune.

So far, this book is darker than I thought. Although this book is the second of the series, it makes sense without reading the first. The concept of a zombie-like virus without the virus spreading, only a pre-defined group that cannibalizes any living being they find, is very interesting. Although it seems less plausible than a regular zombie virus, it is a lot darker, with there being no hope of saving the victims.
