I really don’t like how Emma thinks that it was a big thing that Joshua kept from her. In a stressful situation, what would look like a freeze response isn’t an absurd thing to happen thus wouldn’t really warrant someone flagging it up.

Well that escalated quickly. I feel like the victim of this part of the story shouldve been tied into the plot a bit earlier to make it a bit more connected, but at the same time its realistic nonetheless so I can’t fault it too much.

I didn’t have very high hopes eith the prologue. The writing felt rushed and the scenes didn’t delve into a lot of detail, to the point where it felt like it was all unimportant. I understand it was written just for context to the story, but even when writing for the context there should be some sense of importance. However, the writing in the main story rapidly perked up and I feel much more connected already.
