This is unbearably boring...doing the unthinkable and...shudder...skimming the rest of the book!

5 issues into "The New Voyages", and this is possibly THE most boring series I have ever read.

Not to speak ill of someone who has suffered tremendously, but Bill Mantlo was never a great writer. You could always tell when he gave a shit, though...the quality of these original Micronauts tales has varied wildly, but, man, did he deliver a finale! You could feel him start to care again as the series rocketed towards his conclusion. On to Peter B. Gillis...

Boy, did Marvel do the fans who have been clamoring for these Micros omniboo for years a disservice by not including the X-Men/Micronauts mini-series. Taking place ONE ISSUE before writer Bill Mantlo's finale, the mini is, for all intents and purposes, the end of the series, aside from the final battle with Baron Karza. Yes, the Epstein-esque pedophile Professor X is a but awkward, but still....You blew it, Disney!
