A grueling brutal and painful book to get through. Only 100 pages in and I am just exhausted at what we are capable of doing to each other. Small glimmers of light in an inky abyss. Extremely important book but almost unbearably horrific. The women who fought stand alone. I cannot believe that all of this took place less than a hundred years ago. The world still has the same monsters.
