I'm always surprised when someone says that there's no romance in priest's novels, like what??? Because only priest can make me so invested in a romance without smut, haha

Because only priest can make me so invested in a romance without smut, haha"I agree -- esp with Mo Du, the romance is practically a third of the book and so engaging even with "fade to black" scenes as opposed to full out smut. I could see how some of the romance gets lost in Priest's other novels though, usually it's more nuanced in their dialogue/banter and the characters aren't as upfront about their feelings as in Mo Du.
I haven't read that many priest's novels but I was also going crazy over couples in SPL, TYK and Qi Ye 😍 I just love how she writes dialogues and hidden meanings in them.But I agree that zhoudu are the most open in their feelings 🥰
