I'll admit I lost steam trying to listen to this once we got to Marius. I love learning about Akasha and her king (I've always been a fan) but I just do not care for Marius. Not sure if that is a popular or unpopular opinion so don't come at me lol

Readers weren't kidding when they said Lestat was a brat lol

After reading Interview with the Vampire, I of courses had to start book two immediately. I am listening to this and it is a bit slow but I'm hopeful. I love Rice's writing and have heard nothing but good things about this installment.
