This will get better right? Not a lot of depth. And I was expecting some twists and turns, but so far it's pretty predictable.

I kept waiting for it to really start when I noticed I was already at 45%. And then it dawned on me that this was it. Just 2 kids and a satyr and things happening. One monster after the other.Now I feel sad.
That’s a no from me. Lol. I was so bored by this one. Very basic writing, very meandering story. Keep in mind I like the film and tv adaptations, I just couldn’t with the very kiddie style of the books.
So you're saying I should watch the tv series? I might like it better? The movie has some very bad reviews.
Aww, I love the movie. It’s a staple in our household. Which might be why I didn’t enjoy the book? (Because I was already too familiar and didn’t enjoy the pacing). The show is good too. The kid playing Percy is really good.
So just watch both? I can do that. 😬
Compare and contrast. Should be fun! 😂
