Has anyone else noticed this glitch while using the website version of Goodreads?
On a review page, click the box next to "Notify me when people comment." Check appears. Come back to review later or refresh immediately and check has disappeared.
The reverse is also happening, when the check is active, it cannot be unchecked. Sure, it disappears when you click the box, but it reappears after refresh.

Yes. It's frustrating. Notifications are spotty as is, and this glitch makes it even harder to keep up with conversations I'm interested in.

I've been doing some additional research and it looks like the problem began August 13. Prior to that, my reviews all have little checks, even if the review has no comments, as I tend to check the box right after posting my review.
Starting on the 13th, none of my reviews have the check or can keep the check UNLESS someone has posted a comment before I try checking the box. If there is a comment the box works and stays checked even after refreshing. If there is no comment, it looks like it works but the check goes away if I refresh.
Of course, once I get the check to stay, then I cannot make it go away, even if I delete the comment that has been made on the review.
Can anyone else verify this is how it is erring for them?
I tried changing the check box on two different, previously-posted reviews, one with at least one comment, one with none.has comment/s: I unchecked the check box and refreshed the page. The box remained checked.
has no comment: I checked the check box and refreshed the page. The box remained unchecked.
It looks like I'm getting a similar result to yours.

Thank you for checking! I needed some validation after hearing the old "clear your cache" garbage that tech support always trots out first.
