Still can't stand the characters. None of them. But at least the story is interesting. And I doubt anything will really make Olivia happy.

Well, they're at least talking more now. Moron female is actually asking questions to clarify answers. But they're still no closer than they were. I thought this was about relationship building and bonding? Other than him trying to get a physical reaction out her, there isn't any.

Is it really so difficult to write a heroine who is actually intelligent? Olivia is a freaking moron! And her sister and friend aren't much better. They already knew they were dealing with a species that had greater intelligence.

At least this one I can't say I don't like it because of the sci-fi aspect. Right now that's the best part. It's the characters that suck though. And the story...sadly.

Okay...so far this is the best sci-fi book I've read. Still not very great but better than the others I've tried.
