Cliche beginning. Dumb heroine interviewing with a person and company she knows nothing about. Instant attraction to the man. Instant willingness to obey his command. Dumb. Heroine. Do authors know how to write strong, intelligent heroines?

On the upside, Thank you for the disclaimer about the BDSM lifestyle, and treading lightly. And the mantra. All BDSM books should include it.

Whoa! Did GoodReads actually do something useful???

This has got to be the worst book written in this series so far. Everything is just fucking dragging. There are way too many POVs...without clarity on who is talking. And way too many different stories going on. Oh, and I've lost respect for all the characters that are the main attractions of this book.

Hell yeah, he can.

And you just lost my interest in this book. But when you start a relationship with the intent of only getting revenge...then you end up falling for the guy...you don't fucking betray them.

It has finally just started getting interesting. One thing I'll let readers know in my review is to just keep getting through the very slow and very boring first half.

Still not liking this. Written well, just not my cup of tea.

This isn't what I'm used to from Pepper Winters. It's kinda confusing, but it's still early.

Still can't stand the characters. None of them. But at least the story is interesting. And I doubt anything will really make Olivia happy.

Well, they're at least talking more now. Moron female is actually asking questions to clarify answers. But they're still no closer than they were. I thought this was about relationship building and bonding? Other than him trying to get a physical reaction out her, there isn't any.

Is it really so difficult to write a heroine who is actually intelligent? Olivia is a freaking moron! And her sister and friend aren't much better. They already knew they were dealing with a species that had greater intelligence.

At least this one I can't say I don't like it because of the sci-fi aspect. Right now that's the best part. It's the characters that suck though. And the story...sadly.

Okay...so far this is the best sci-fi book I've read. Still not very great but better than the others I've tried.

Oh, I hope this picks up soon. I know it's still early but it's been boring so far.
