Not only was the narrator’s voice for the American guy grating on my nerves (literally making my skin crawl whenever she spoke as him), but he’s also THE WORST. I could not understand what Sofia was seeing in him. If he was the main love interest, I was going to be SO MAD. But I kept reading in the hopes that she would take off the rose coloured glasses and thank god she did!
