I feel like the writing will always try to save any mistakes in the story which feels a bit lazy. When Hunt left Bryce at the bar after she insulted him to then go back to HER apartment and then sent someone to watch after her just sounds stupid and pointless to the story and like lazy writing.

I know Hunt is supposed to be the sexy, strong, wise, powerful, love interest but he’s not developing into someone I like at all. Saying he should “bribe her with a new pair of shoes or some purse or whatever the fuck might be enticing enough to keep her mouth shut” is a disgusting quote to come from someone that’s supposed to be a future lover and technically her protector here.
