MY YURIIIII (HERRERA)!!!! i love yuri herrera it's been too long since i've read one of his novels. love a fucked up little violent fable-y story so i am hoping this will be at least decent... also i am reading it in spanish but the english title is just too good!!! kingdom cons!!!!! wow... lisa dillman my greatest respect for you for that one

this was... Fine... you can definitely tell this was herrera's first novel because it has the sort of fable-like narration and the thinly veiled This-Is-About-Social-Issues-in-Contemporary-Mexico topic but it isn't as well-written or as interesting as his later novels. yaaaaaaa
