Y’know, the way I remembered the Grandest Game ending was not how it actually ended. I must have imagined it. I could’ve sworn.
Who is the threat? What is Gigi being protected from? Riddles upon riddles and traps upon traps, too many questions not enough answers.
I don’t think this game is going to end it these pages. Perhaps in the Gilded Blade. Calla lilies and the number three. What does Odette know?

I was wrong about how this book ended — the Grandest Game ends but the mysteries do not.
Who is the lady in white? What does she want with Avery — or Brady? What’s wrong with The Lilly, what happened to her?
Once again there are too many questions as apposed to answers given for my brain to not spiral down a rabbit hole.
Alice’s rabbit hole.

We learned who kidnapped Gigi, and I don’t know why when I read about Gigi be trapped in a lighthouse I didn’t automatically think of Jackson. But I did realize after I put the book down and started reading again. Who has a lighthouse not far from Hawthorne Island where someone could be stored?
I don’t really get why they had to go to the cruise ship, because it seems out of the blue, must be for the plot.
