Well I've proven to myself I can still finish a book. A fast enough read but I wish I'd realized it was book 1 of a series. I wish something more had happened in this one. I am somewhat intrigued to read through to the next but I still haven't got back to Octavia Butler's trilogy that I didn't realize was a trilogy either...
