I’m not sure this book is good or mid. It’s certainly not bad. But I find my eyes glazing over at times, it feels like little has happened and I’ve read over half of it already. This series is pegged as an epic space opera but I haven’t really seen the epicness nor the space opera-ness, it’s really at this point the misfortunes of a space noble.

Malazan forgive me but this is lowkey my delicious slop rn, can’t get enough

My work audiobook presently. So far a rare book that manages to be pretty well written and eye rolling all at once.
