I think they thought they were running out of time; we went from Stone Age Homo Sapiens and Neanderthal migration and Ice Ages to William and Mary over 200pg, but William and Mary coronation in 1689 to Iron Bridges in Shropshire 90yrs later as advances of the Industrial Revolution in one page!

Speeding thru the 18th Century to WW1 in but 50, with George III and Victoria the only monarchs getting mention really

A rather quick dash thru English history, we started with the Ice Age and Paleolithic times (Stone Age) and have made it to the 5th of Henry’s 6 wives in 150 pages lol
