This game of cat and mouse, or mouse and cat, or straight up mouse and mouse is SO TIRING and feels so pointless. But it's the whole ass plot and I can't for the life of me fathom WHY.
I am clearly a minority here though, cause this book has such good reviews 🙈

10% is usually when I decide whether to drop....or continue....
The FMC is, I think, the archetype I don't particularly enjoy reading. And it's dual POV with the MMC who is, I'm sure, a softie under his hard exterior. it's giving Divine Rivals, and I didn't particularly enjoy that romance.
