this book continues to stare at me on my kindle as i continue to ignore it. it's a good translation and i love the perspective from the trojans, but i'm lazy and don't want to read ancient literature rn

any time i feel smug for knowing the allusions to the Iliad and Odyssey without needing the footnotes, i am promptly brought back to earth when i have to google "*insert roman god* greek equivalent"
