All right I've come around on Ryoka. All it took was a subplot about ice cream.

So confused about why Ryoka's (sp?) POV is sometimes in 1st person and sometimes in 3rd. Also confused about why we have her POV in the first place. Go back to Erin. Also, Erin never has 1st person POV, only 3rd, but she's the main character??

And now back to the world's (literal) longest book.

a Ryoka chapter seems like a good time to switch over to my new audiobook (gay gothic horrorrrrrr)

Whoa, sudden first person POV, and it's not Erin! Interesting?

I had to look up whether or not the little goblin and Erin ever become friends bc I was having anxiety, so I guess I'm *invested* or whatever.

I want to shake Erin sometimes. Get a grip, girl. Obviously I know she isn't going to stay this hapless the entire time, but it's still frustrating.

This guy is an idiot. Just like, be nice! Stop threatening people to get what you want!
