This is a 3 star read. The noir side story didn’t really progress in this part. Looking forward to resume that in the next part.

Can’t wait to finish this.

This second book isn’t as interesting as the first. On a re-read it’s a 3-star read. I think it’s because of the focus on the relationship between the MCs.

Kathryn is a lunatic. I’m getting Remy flashbacks from Gray Matter.

Nearing the half way point and nothing of significance has happened beyond the MCs having sex. This might be a filler book.

Maybe I’m reading wrong this too long after. I’m not connected to the characters. Might review this downward on this read.

Guess they’re progressing to the sexual portion of their relationship.

Hopefully there’s some spy work in this.

The first 1/6th of this is hyper focused on the sexual tension between the two mains. While I’m not against this, I’m looking forward to more spy based intrigue.

Giving this a re-read to complete the series.
