I FREAKIN KNEW IT. I knew Patrick had more of a part to play in Hawkes past just wasn’t 100% of what exactly. But damn, nothing better than a catholic dickhead getting served the justice he truly deserves.
This time round the mention of the lip ring from fmc is annoying. Like okay we know he has one that he likes to play with but enough already. Also the constant lovey dovey narrative. Seems a tad overkill

Argh. This book has me in the biggest chokehold, I do not want to ever put it down.
I skipped over the trigger warning part, does it bother me. No not really, what does bother me is the mfc preaching about her dislike for pretenders while pretending to love and be faithful to her bf lol. But with a damn tatted up hottie like Hawke can’t say I blame the chick. I’m waiting for that juicy past plot line 🤤
