Not even 10 pages in and it’s already my favorite book. It opens with a chalk portal to hell, then casually references Dante, Orpheus, and Eliot’s Waste Land before I’ve even settled in. Had to put the book down to write this because I’m fighting for my life not to annotate my special edition.

…but I fear the ink is inevitable.
