I have become so fond of these characters. Now that I’m nearing the end of the book, I don’t feel ready to say bye.

I have so much love in my heart for Alice and Eileen. For all the characters really, but especially them.

The alternating chapters being emails back and forth from Alice and Eileen, adds another philosophical level to this book I have not experienced before from Rooney’s work. Lovely!
