kidnapped kids though which cuts into my Elvis chapters too much haha. I liked the countdown of the chapters leading up to Elvis getting taken too, built up the tension well. Elvis and Joe are always a win and I love their ride or die friendship.

A reread after many years. Elvis Cole is always a win to get me out of a reading slump. I liked this one, it's a good one. Joe is basically Rosa from B99, 'I've had this dog for a day and a half, if anything happens to him I'll kill everyone in this room and then myself' with Elvis missing Joe has zero impulse control which is kinda fun to read.
