This was an average read in ebook, but the Graphic Audio production definitely elevated it to very enjoyable. All the sounds effects does the action-packed nature of the story a lot of justice. Don't expect depth or great writing, but it's rollicking fun. Think Indiana Jones but with a kickass heroine and a cool sword.

The Graphic Audio levels up this audiobook story a giant notch. Goodreads tells me I read this book ages ago when it was first published and it must have been somewhat meh cos I only gave it 3 stars and never ventured further into the series. I will definitely pick up and listen to more of the series through the GA productions.

Only just realised I’d read this ages ago and thought it was just okay. Listening to it as. Graphic Audio production is an entirely different experience. The pacing is slower than I like and it feels like it is taking a very long time to get to the point of the story which I can sort of guess at. Storytelling is still only okay, but the GA production is excellent.
