I’ve been listening to the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack while reading this and it’s actually very atmospheric. The slow start has paid off and I’m fully invested in these characters and their stories. Althea is still my favourite but Wintrow is definitely growing on me. And I’m very interested to find out what will happen with Amber and Paragon.

Very slow-going but hopefully that’ll make for an interesting story later down the line. I am intrigued by Althea and what she’ll do now, as well as how the other povs will intersect with her adventures going forward. The Bingtown setting is very interesting as well.
