this romance is SCRUMPTIOUS

i think i'm supposed to like isabelle over vianne, but i don't. vianne may seem submissive and weak, but that is her strength. she understands what's most important and knows how to protect it. she's seen what happens amidst conflict, and it's respectable for her to avoid it at all costs. isabelle, though dauntless, comes off as arrogant and childish. i think their dynamic is charming thoooo!

this feels like the beginning of a long and delicious adventure wahhh i'm excited!!!

also i THINK i like isabelle's attitude thus far, but i'm afraid i've seen this film before and the film is called atonement (isabelle reminds me of briony 😭)

i can't even begin to imagine what it's like to be having a picnic with loved ones feeling the breeze, being under the sun and among flowers one minute, then being bombed or drafted the next.
