25% in and I'm struggling a bit. There's too much rambling and inner thoughts and I know that's how the author writes from previous books but it's getting to me a bit. A lot just seems to be filler. And a way to show how much the author has researched as well as their history knowledge background. People seem to be loving it though and I will continue as I'm invested.

I too am struggling a bit, stalled out a couple weeks ago and have yet to pick it back up. And I LOVE these two and all the other books. There is something overworked about it that feels almost tedious??? Dunno. But I will get back to it. These heroes are wonderful. Best wishes!
