Every time I read this book I am in awe, truly the best book I have ever read. There is always something new to appreciate. It’s like a puzzle where everything fits but not everything is there and you have to be the one to fill the information in and that adds so much to the intrigue. I just feel like I’m there with every character.

This isn't a horror novel but something about her writing, while beautiful, is unnerving. Same with the snow child. I'm checking over my shoulder as I'm getting ready for bed even though nothing remotely scary has occurred in the story.
