- Almost one year on exactly and this is still fantastic!!
- The immediate chemistry between Tabby and Philip is exquisite. It’s very impressive how expressive the art is and it shows their connection almost immediately.
- Philip’s mask reminds me of a Cyberman without the handles! For such a fantastical world it’s the most basic mask ever haha.
- The full page of the glittering sea was beautiful art.

- It’s such a good detail that the same scene in Tabby’s recollection shows Philip with a completely different expression than the actual scene he spoke to her in!
- Nelsi is so adorable. I love her energy and spunk! Does she realise that they will all think Tabby is working with the Geists now that she’s helped them escape? I love the political aspect of this.

- Philip was jealous of Paeter making a move on Tabby aaw that is SO CUTE. I cannot stop gushing they are so sweet😭
- So bring a Geist means you have an innate ability to deal with Ciphrony? But all the regular people could still fly so I don’t fully get it.
- That double page spread was absolutely gorgeous art!

- I don’t know why this girl is blushing. Blue haired boy over here looks creepy.
- Woah woah we’re only 10 pages in and we’ve already killed the dad so hard that he’s a skeleton.
- The mum did not take a second to mourn. Someone cue “Dead Mom” from the Beetlejuice musical but make it a reprise dead dad edition.
- 5 eyed crows is straight from the 2010s Simpson movie. So does the mist kill or mutate?
