Whenever discussing literature, one cannot leave out Greek literature—Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, composed around 750 BCE—considered as foundation of ancient Greek literature.

This is my first time reading a detailed version of the Iliad; it's not entirely about the Trojan War; rather, it covers only the end of the war, especially when Achilles takes revenge for his friend, Patroclus.
