My all time favorite movie and I don’t think I knew it was a book!

Ginger - It’s one of my top five favorite films as well, and I only recently became aware that it was an adaptation…I always assumed it was an original screenplay. So far (two thirds through) the novel is just so-so…the characters are there, as well as several of the iconic lines and scenes we love from the film, but the overall writing is not as strong as I’d like….I think this is going to be one of those rare cases of the film being better than the novel!!
