ARCHETYPES: I think the Archetypes in Mocking Jay is the quest because they want to win the war against president snow and overcoming the monster because they want to unalive president snow to win the war and stop the hunger games from happening ever again.

SUMMARY: The main character is Katniss Everdeen aka the Mockingjay the story is about the rebels wanting to win the war against the Capitol. The story takes place in a future dystopia. The story is told in Katniss' perspective after all of the events though it is told like it is happening right now.

VISUALIZE: I visualized some things in Mockingjay, for example when Katniss was talking about how she felt bad for Peeta and they mind controlled him I could visualize the scene on which she was talking about if he was getting any better and they tell her some good news but Haymitch comes and tells her that its no use

MAKING CONNECTIONS: A connection I made in Mockingjay is that they started talking about the poem the hanging tree as a poem that they sing every once in a while, also when Katniss had free time she was making a noose and thinking about the poem while making it. They also are in district 13 where their food is controlled and the rules are very strict and that reminds me about school a lot.

CHARACTERIZATION: In Mockingjay, Katniss thinks about saving Peeta from the Capitol but with the situation, she cant do anything. This shows that Katniss has a hidden feeling and wants to save Peeta. She also feels bad for him because she knows that the Capitol is beating him up for propaganda to the districts and the Capitol.

ANTAGONIST: The antagonist of Mockingjay is President Snow because he is attacking and starting a war against Katniss Everdeen and the rebels/district 13. He is attacking district 13 by sending bombers into district 13's hospitals and other things. So far he sent bombers into there and even though Katniss and Gale shot down some of them most of them dropped their bombs.

(STATIC VS DYNAMIC) I believe Katniss Everdeen is dynamic because she changes over time in the story. I know this because she changed her emotions about other people and things that they did. Another reason why I think she is dynamic because multiple times she is mentioned to not be perfect.

Genre: Sci Fi?
So far Katniss' gets a high tech bow that only works when it hears her voice. Before getting her bow she needed to go through identification. Another thing that happens is they film a video to convince people in the capitol to join the rebels.

So far the hospital got firebombed and katniss' is angry.
