why is it the norm for girls to only wear skirts? 😭

like school started for me four weeks ago, although it’s been like this for the past like three years, but im the ONLY girl in my grade who wears shorts. skirts make me so uncomfortable and they make me feel icky and wanna crawl out of my skin and yet it’s normalized for only boys to wear them 😭🙏
