16. Children of the Corn: a tale similar to The Hills Have Eyes. Two people are stuck in an empty town surrounded by acres and acres of corn. Till they heard the children.
The religious bit is too much for me, personally tho.

11. The Ledge. The title got me confused, then the story itself is beyond brilliance. A man is forced to walk the ledge of the building after getting caught with another’s wife.
The best in this collection.

10. Sometimes They Come Back: Jim Morris is an English teacher. His 7th period deals with stupid students. Some new students get transferred to his class, but they’re no strangers.
The whole reading experience feels like reading It all over again, you know, the many haunted years, the bravery it takes to fight back. Only not as well written. The ending is rather confusing. Not King’s best.

9. Trucks: people are trapped inside a diner, surrounded by trucks threatening to run them down. They are forced to pump gas into those trucks forever. Be truck slaves
The idea is both absurd and marvellous at the same time. The writing is brilliant, showcasing the dire situation they’re all in.
I start to wonder why the endjng of all these stories are gloomy as hell.
