Mira Hartson talks about different topics of learning to be okay with the person you are right now, knowing when you have done enough for others and when to start doing more for yourself. As soon as the I started reading this book, I knew right away that I would enjoy it and I was right.

"That's what building safe, supportive relationships looks like. It's not about perfection, for that doesn't exist. It's about authentic presence that doesn't punish you for being real." (Hartson 255) At this point in my book the author is talking about rebuilding trusting relationships. While I was reading it became clear how much it effected me as I am navigating to find my closest friends this year.
