I was told this book is weird by the cashier when I bought it. After reading the starving saints I wondered how weird can it be? It’s weird! In the best whimsical fantasy way. It has moments of darkness but overall feels comfy. So far 5 stars and really hoping it stays that way.

This book nearly lost me but I kept reading and it sucked me right back in. The magical realism is really interesting and reminds me so much of We’ll Prescribed You a Cat with several short stories connected by a common element. I wasn’t expecting that when I started the book. I feel like if I ever wrote a book it would be unique and disjointed like this. I love this book
