imagine being very close to the end but thinking about reading this book gives you a fucking blood pressure spike. should i give up some of my sanity and good mood today to finally get this thing done?? or should i save my sanity and prolong my suffering for another day?????

i feel broken. but i hope im over 50 percent done. i think this IS worse than acotar actually

i keep saying "this isnt worse than acotar," but i wasnt constantly pissed off reading acotar. but at the same time the reason i am so pissed was because someone recommended this to me in a COMPLETELY tone deaf way. i can't help but to feel so disrespected cause they clearly did NOT care for my opinions at all.

you know, throughout my time reading this, i thought i might give this book 3 stars (theres NO way it would have reached 4). but i am feeling so many feelings and none of them is particularly pleasant. idk. i still might be generous and give it 3 stars since its not worse than acotar (but atp i might rethink my initial ratings for those books)

the love interest has been introduced and hes been described as having a very sexy deep voice. i keep hearing him as corpse husband in my head. i do not find corpse husband's voice to be sexy.
